The evils of bad mouthing

"I have never believed you make your case stronger by bad-mouthing your opposition."
                                                                                                                     - Glenda Jackson

If there's anything I'm learning in corporate life, it's this: People can be very ehh.... immature sometimes.

College was tough and I vent my frustration here on blogger. Now when I look back at those posts I'm almost embarrassed at the amount of bad mouthing I did back then. Principal, my classmates, friends...I spared nobody. And then I realized what I was doing and began concentrating on (trying some) positive writing.

I'm seeing far too many cases of people belittling others just to make a point. This and Office gossip are two things that can not only poison an otherwise healthy mind, it actually leads to workplace enmity- the last thing you need at Office is a person who wants your head.

It's funny how a study actually thinks it is healthy because in my short experience it's only led to hard feelings and heartache.

The world is not ideal and it's a tough task adhering to ethics and rules... but there's always a start... better late than never.
